Sam Sokolow is the Co-CEO of SokoLobl Entertainment. SOKOLOBL ENTERTAINMENT has created and Executive Produced Taildaters for MTV, Man Vs. Vegas for CMT, Ballbreakers and Vegas Weddings Unveiled for GSN, and The Untitled Deion Sanders Project for Oxygen. Sokolobl Entertainment has also Executive Produced The Kentucky Kid, Burned and Trick It Out for MTV and Ultimatum for Style Channel. Sokolobl Entertainment recently produced The Hottest Mom in America, a ground breaking branded television initiative in association with Buzz Nation Marketing. Sokolobl Entertainment manages all aspects of television development and production, including format creation, full third party production services, budgeting, casting, hiring, shooting, post production, on-line integration and every aspect of bringing shows to life.
Prior to founding SokoLobl Entertainment, Sam served as Co- President of Homemade Entertainment, a venture capital backed film and television content website. In 1999, Sam became the first filmmaker to self-distribute a feature film on the Internet with The Definite Maybe, which he produced, co-wrote and co- directed in 1998 and which starred Roy Scheider, Josh Lucas, Bob Balaban and Teri Garr. Also in 1999, Sam worked in the elite creative/marketing department of the NFL in New York, where he helped developed strategic marketing campaigns for the NFL brand.
From 1994 to 1997, Sam served as a television and radio commercial producer for Wells, Rich & Greene Advertising, where he produced adverting for clients including Proctor & Gamble, Hertz and Heineken. Prior, Sam was a television and radio commercial producer for Partners & Shevack Advertising, where he produced commercial television and radio advertising for clients including Arm & Hammer and Avis. Prior to Partners & Shevack, Sam was an Associate Producer on Barbara Koppel’s Emmy Award-winning CBS movie Fallen Champ: The Untold Story of Mike Tyson. Before quickly moving up the production ladder, Sam was a production assistant on the NBC mini-series Trial: The Price of Passion and an assistant to the Executive Producer on the CBS movie-of-the week A Lady Against the Odds. Sam has also held a position as a staff reporter for the New York Daily News covering crime and community affairs for the Manhattan and Queens Metro section.
In 1991, Sam graduated from Boston University, College of Communications, with a degree in Broadcasting/Film Production. Sam is a life-long New York Giants fan, and resides in Venice, California with his wife Julia.
