Tony Bill is an Academy Award winning Producer who has decades of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his career as an actor working with directors such as Sydney Pollock, Steven Spielberg and Francis Copppola. His producer credits include such films as Dead Head Miles (1971) and The Sting (1973). He also has various production credits on films such as Taxi Driver (1976), Hearts of the West (1975) and Boulevard Nights (1979). His director credits include My Bodyguard (1980), Untamed Heart (1993) and Flyboys (2006) which starred James Franco. 
He also has extensive experience in television working as a director on projects starring Katherine Hepburn, Richard Dreyfuss, Sissy Spacek and Holly Hunter to name a few. His television producer credits include Last Call with Jeremy Irons, The Fixer with Jon Voight and In the Time of Butterflies with Salma Hayek and Edward James Olmos.
As a Hall of Fame producer Tony Bill is best known as the consummate independent producer with box office success and a reputation for discovering new talent.
Bill is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame and lives in Venice, CA. He has published articles in The Los Angeles Times, Flight Journal and Plane and Pilot.
